Costco offers a price adjustment when an item you bought goes on promotion within 30 days. Many members miss it, because nobody watches the prices after the shop. CartGo does the watching.
After you shop, take a photo of your receipt. CartGo reads the items. You check them and save.
If an item goes on promotion, CartGo sends you an alert with the possible adjustment and the claim-by date.
At the Costco returns counter, show the item number, the purchase date and the possible adjustment. The card works offline too.

Deals from the Costco pamphlet do not earn credits, and the photo must show the deal's end date. You can hold up to 10 credits, and they do not expire. Pro members do not need credits, so they do not earn them. The price-tag camera works at Costco warehouses in New Zealand and Australia.

Prices from your receipts and price-tag photos go into the shared price list without your name. On your posts, members see your nickname and your membership level (Free or Pro). On the deals that you spot, they see your nickname, unless you turn it off in Account → Community. Next to your comment on a product, they can see "Verified buyer" when your saved receipts show that you bought it.
From 10 November 2026, we keep the photos of each receipt for up to 30 days after the upload, to check and improve how CartGo reads receipts. Only our team, Google Gemini and OpenAI process them. A receipt that you report to us: we keep its photos while we check it. When you delete your account, we delete them at once.
With a scan, only the warehouse or the country is sent. The receipt reminder after a Costco visit is set by your phone, and it sends us nothing about the reminder.

A trial that started before CartGo 2.0.0 keeps Pro until its end date.
CartGo saves every receipt that you add. A watched receipt also gets the 30-day price watch and alerts. Each month, your 2 free watches are used first, then your credits. Pro watches every receipt.
A saved receipt that is not watched is still checked. If it may qualify for a price adjustment, CartGo tells you. Then you can watch it with a credit, or go Pro.
An item qualifies only while it is on promotion, within 30 days of your purchase. A .97 markdown or a price override does not qualify.

Your email address from Google or Apple sign-in (with Google sign-in, also the name and the profile-photo link of your Google account, which CartGo does not show or use). The photos of your receipts and price tags, and what CartGo reads from them: the date, the warehouse, the product codes, names and prices, and the total. CartGo does not read your membership number or your card number.
Your GPS position stays on your phone. With each price-tag photo, the warehouse is sent; with each receipt, the country of the nearest warehouse. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

In CartGo 2.0.0 and later: tap Account at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account" (below "Sign out"). Or email support@cartgo.app.
Pro members: deleting your account does not cancel Pro. Cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play.
